Admission & Form I-20 Application Process

Students may start their applications as early as 120 days before the semester begins.

Step 1: Apply to ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ

1. Apply for Admission at ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ
2. Submit all previous transcripts to ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ

3. If English is not your official language at the time of high school graduation, you need to take an English proficiency test
    

   College Level Eligibility for English Proficiency Testing

Step 2: Request your Initial I-20

I-20 Application Process ( F-1 VISA)

Students on an F-1 Student visa are citizens of a country other than the United States and who intend to return to their home country upon completion of their educational program. 

To apply for an F-1 visa to study in the United States, the following is required:

• Admission to a SEVP-approved institution
• English proficiency
• Sufficient funds

Students may request their I-20 after they have been admitted to ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ and issued their school ID number.

1. Submit completed ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ Form I-20 to iss@tulsacc.edu. 
   Note: Download the form before filling it out. Then save the file. 
2. Once the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ FORM I-20, along with appropriate documents, is submitted, your initial I-20 Certificate of Eligibility will be emailed, along with your admission letter. You can then begin the process of applying for your F-1 Student visa.

Step 3: Apply for the F-1 VISA

1. Pay your , required before your visa interview.
2. (This takes approximately 90 minutes)

Step 4: Arrival in the U.S. & Enrollment at ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ

You cannot begin the enrollment process until you have checked in with the International Student Services office.

1. Upon receiving your F-1 Visa, email us at iss@tulsacc.edu with the date of your arrival and copy of your Visa. Then we will schedule your check-in with the International Student Services office.
2. When you enter the U.S., show the immigration officer:
   • Your Form I-20.
   • Your passport with a valid F-1 VISA.
3. After arriving in Tulsa, Oklahoma, within one business day:
   You will need to bring your:
   1. Form I-20
   2. Passport with a valid F-1 Visa
