1. Using Art to Provide Better Patient Care

   A new approach at ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ blends art into academic learning with students in 14 Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Respiratory Care, and Occupational Therapy. The program, being developed for ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ called Visual Thinking Strategies, will be used by ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ Health Sciences faculty and incorporated into the teaching curriculum in ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ Health Sciences courses.

5. Broken Arrow Fire Department Offers Internships for ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ Students

   As part of an innovative new program, the Broken Arrow Fire Department and ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ are launching a Fire and Emergency Medical Services internship for ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ students. The interns are taking part of the 20-week Broken Arrow Fire Academy, in order to learn the skills needed to perform the duties of a firefighter as well as earning essential certifications for employment.
